DP Familiarisation Course

The DP Familiarisation Course is tailored to suit industry professionals involved in the delivery of projects utilizing DP vessels in non marine operational roles e.g. Field Engineers, Project Managers, Offshore Construction/Installation Managers, Dive/ROV/Drilling Supervisors, Project Shift/Bridge Supervisors, Marine Warranty Surveyors

Participants will understand the components that make up a DP system, its practical use, as well as the effects of system failures and redundancy concepts. The course highlights key guidelines affecting all types of DP operations, and analyses practical aspects of common DP vessel applications through real world case studies. By combining these elements, participants will understand how to best utilise DP equipped vessels, as well as understand their limitations, for consistent delivery of incident free DP operation.
